# 6466 Tuba

Description: I have this sweet 6466 Antique Tuba made by Karl Moritz (Charles) Missenharter, serial #6466 circa 1879-1883 I believe.
Kral worked with father in Ulm,Germany making instruments,migrated to US and produced quality instruments.
This tuba inbelishment states Mebille 1st.class,London Paris,N.Y.San francisco. C.H. Missenharter, H.Bowker Wocester,Mass. General agent. Bowker was head of instruments at Leland of Wocester,mass. I am selling as found for restoration or hanging,it is dented but valves work,
I feel this is a nice piece of history,it measures 23-3/4"length,9-3/4"bell.
